Reddit Video Downloader
ClipRip is a Reddit video downloader that actually works. Reddit hosts videos in a weird way where audio and video are separate streams, which is why so many tools give you silent clips. We handle that merge automatically so you get the full video with sound every time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do Reddit videos I download have no sound?
Reddit stores video and audio as separate files on their servers. Most basic downloaders only grab the video track. ClipRip automatically combines both tracks into a single file so you always get video with audio.
How do I download a Reddit video?
Copy the URL of the Reddit post containing the video. Paste it into ClipRip and hit the download button. That is it. Works with full post URLs, v.redd.it short links, and share links from the Reddit app.
Can I download Reddit videos on my phone?
Yes. ClipRip works in any mobile browser. Open the Reddit app, tap Share on the video post, copy the link, then open ClipRip in your browser and paste the link. The file saves directly to your device.
Does this work with Reddit Shorts or GIFs?
It works with any video content hosted on Reddit, including short clips and GIF-format posts that Reddit converts to video. If Reddit is playing it as a video, ClipRip can download it.
Is it free to download Reddit videos?
Yes, ClipRip is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees, no download limits, and no account signup needed.
